Transfer a domain from Register.com

To Transfer a domain from Register.com to BBros.us
(these directions should serve you, if you need additional assistance we can help)
  1. The Domain should first be pointed to BBros.us DNS servers.
  2. The Domain must be unlocked.
  3. The Authorization Code needs to be requested.
  4. A transfer request must be made by BBros.us with this code, and the client may need to respond to an authorization email.

1.) To point a Register.com Domain to BBros.us DNS servers:
  • Log into Account Manager w/ your username and password
  • Select the domain name
  • Under "DOMAIN NAME SYSTEM SERVERS (DNS SERVERS)"
    • UDNS1.ULTRADNS.NET
    • UDNS2.ULTRADNS.NET
  • Click the Continue button.
  • When the confirmation page appears, click Continue again and the DNS Server change will be implemented.

2.) To unlock a domain at Register.com:
  • Log into Account Manager w/ your username and password
  • Select the domain name
  • Click "Disable Domain Lock"
  • Click the Continue button.
  • & Click the Continue button.

3.) To request an Authorization Code from Register.com:
  • Log into Account Manager w/ your username and password
  • Select the domain name
  • Click "Obtain Auth Info Code"
  • Copy the Auth Code:
  • Click the Continue button.
  • Supply this Authorization Code to BBros.us, we will will initiate transfer and the client may be required to respond to an authorization email.
